About RealPOS

The Problem We Are Solving

Across emerging markets, retail businesses lose up to 18% of their gross revenue annually due to untracked inventory shrinkage, unrecorded cashier discrepancies, manual paper receipt tampering, and blind stockouts of bestselling items. Traditional desktop legacy POS systems are clunky, vulnerable to hard drive crashes, and trap store owners physically inside their shops.

The RealPOS Cloud Architecture

We engineered a cloud-native, offline-tolerant point of sale ecosystem. Cashiers can ring up sales with rapid barcode scanning even during internet flickers, while store owners and financial controllers monitor live branch margins, cash drawer balances, and warehouse stock transfers from any smartphone or laptop anywhere in the world.

Our Foundational Principles

• Absolute Financial Integrity: Every kobo and cent is accounted for in an immutable, double-entry audit ledger.
• Extreme Simplicity at the Counter: Cashiers master the checkout flow in under 5 minutes without technical training.
• Resilience by Design: Offline fallback, automated encrypted cloud sync, and 99.99% uptime guarantees.
• Local Context First: Engineered natively for Nigerian banking transfers, POS terminal integrations, and local retail workflows.
